In addition to custom generator enclosures, Phoenix Products provides custom fueling solutions with UL 142 and UL 2085 fuel tanks. Manufactured in-house and double walled with a two-hour fire rating, we have the capability to manufacture free-standing fuel tanks up to 30,000 gallons and generator sub-base fuel tanks up to 25,000 gallons.

UL 142 Fuel Tanks

When fire rating is not required, Phoenix Products’ double-wall aboveground tanks with sealed interstitials provide secure secondary containment at a competitive price. Each steel tank is tested and labeled in accordance with UL 142 AST standards for flammable and combustible liquids and designed to suit your specific site and application requirements.

Available in capacities up to 25,000 gallons, our generator sub-base tanks provide double-wall, secondary containment and are UL 142 listed and labeled and built to support gensets up to 80,000 pounds, with or without enclosures. The tank itself rests on steel channel supports that facilitates air circulation to prevent corrosion.

Our Fire-Steel® design offers fire protection and durability in a generator sub-base tank and meets both UL 142 and UL 2085 standards. These UL-listed “special purpose” tanks are available in capacities up to 25,000 gallons, and built to support gensets up to 80,000 pounds, with or without enclosures.
